AUDITION FOR A CAPELLA: August 31 - September 3

Come to the A Cappella Interest Meeting this Sunday to see what all four groups on campus are about! You can sign up to audition for any of them there, or email us at business@jackets.org to schedule one with us! Undergrad and grad students from the U of R River Campus and from Eastman are welcome. This year with the YellowJackets should be the most exciting yet: we plan to use last year's awesome concerts, CD recording, and New England and European tours as a stepping off point for even more exciting things!

THE YELLOWJACKETS RETURN FROM EUROPE

After spending 17 days in Europe, the Jackets are finally back home. They started their journey in Dublin, Ireland on May 10th, and continued to Paris, Geneva, Zurich, Berlin, Prague, Munich, Venice and Rome, singing all the way! They performed everywhere, from underneath the Eiffel Tower in Paris to a Greek Amphitheatre in Geneva to the Colosseum in Rome.

THE YELLOWJACKETS HIT THE MICS!

This past week (April 5-9, 2010), the YellowJackets entered the recording studio to record the group's 15th studio album.  Spending five days in the studio, we recorded 11 songs for our newest album to be released this coming fall!  It's a great mix of songs since the release of our last album "Bringing Yellow Back" in the Spring of 2008.

Stay tuned this Spring and Summer for the name of the CD, the release date, and how to pre-order your very own copy!  Details will be available both on Facebook and on the website!

 

THE YELLOWJACKETS PRESENT: GLEE! A GREAT SUCCESS

We would like to thank everyone who came out to support the group in our annual Spring Show this year!  On March 20th, we celebrated a great night with a packed Douglass Dining Center. We were able to send our Seniors (Le Doan, Brad Reilly, and Enrique Lacarcel Bautista) out in style thanks to the amazing crowd at the show!

THE YELLOWJACKETS SPRING BREAK TOUR 2010!

The YellowJackets enjoyed an amazing 1-week tour of the Northeastern United States over Spring Break 2010!  We made stops in Boston, Albany, New York City, Philadelphia, and other places during the week.  Here are a couple pictures from the trip...
